Inky & Pepper

Having animals should be a requirement for most people as they love you unconditionally and are in tune to your ups and downs, good moods and bad moods. They know when you need to be left alone and know when you need their company. Last month my cat, Inky, of almost 15 years was killed by a friends dog whom I was watching and have watched before without incident. That was a very heart wrenching night as I came home from work and she was dead. I called my brother-in-law to come over and take her away to be cremated and she now sits upon my entertainment stand in a cat urn. Even animals feel heartache, as my dog, Pepper and I moped around the house over the weekend because we were sad. However, Pepper decided she would keep searching the place for Inky in any nook and cranny she could get her nose to because she thought she would come back to play with her like they always did. This made it even harder for me because there was no way to explain to an animal that she was not coming back. Hopefully no one has to go through what I did. Love and play with your pets as much as you can while there still alive because they could go just like that and you’ll wish you could’ve done more.

This is Pepper

Hi, thanks for visiting my blog and thanks for your comment. This piece about Inky and Pepper really tugged at my heart. I’m so sorry you lost Inky. She was so pretty. Poor Pepper, too. Take care, both of you. 🙂
