Where’s the Money

You know with the ease of advertising on blogs it is a wonder that more people have not tried to monetize their blogs with companies like Blogsvertise. It can be as easy as placing banner ads in the sidebar, in the posts themselves, headers and/or footers. But there is also, which is sometimes more common, posts within the blog giving a review or buzz of the advertisers item. Blogsvertise is one such company that has reviews in posts. It is also a wise idea to get your own personal domain and pay for hosting verses using the free sites because some of them do not allow any advertising or only partial advertising because they do not want the competition. That being said most everybody is in a disparaging hole right now until g00gle fixes, updates or does something with everybodies PR’s because most people have zeros across the board when they did not before a few days ago. Even mine is showing nothing right now when it wasn’t before. Not good especially when sites need that to help calculate how much you should get paid including companies like Blogsvertise.

  1. Haven’t tried using them yet. Sometimes I think that PR is just a waste of time. If you have the traffic it shouldn’ :island: t matter I guess. Thats my take.

  2. I have a few opps waiting there- they actually re-instated them because I took that month off from blogging. I just won’t take the ones that deal with gambling sites.
