When does it Sink in?

How many time does a person have to over and over and OVER the same things before any of it sinks in? Some of our patients have immunosuppressive drug levels that need to be check as troughs in the morning around 9-9:30 AM not fricken 1:45 PM. I mean what the hell? We are also a PEDIATRIC group. We don’t see 18 year olds. The chairman even made a memo about it, if they are 18, they are adults and as such they get seen by the adult practice. And technically they are because the law defines it that way. They don’t need their mommies and daddies coming with them to their visits and as an 18 y/o they need to make decisions for themselves. I mean it is like beating a dead horse here people because I keep having to reschedule and/or cancel visits when I find it. We actually had an 18 y/o show up for clinic yesterday and we called the adult service and had them see him. It is ridiculous.
