Almost time for vacation for me but our hospital had some sort of public forum I guess. I’m not even really sure exactly what it was but the local news was there to see what sort of cuts the hospital was going to make in view of all of this economic cut backs as we are a state institution. Some people were going to have some furloughs without pay and that it was going to trickle down the ranks but I got to tell ya, us peons can’t afford even 1 day off without pay because a good chunk of us have 2 jobs to try to make ends meet because we can’t get paid enough as it is. No raises are to be had. No new positions are to be had. No new hires are to be had and quite a few lay offs will be happening.
Some movies coming out over the holidays, Transporter 3 which I want to go see and oddly enough Four Christmases. Ya I know its probably a chick flick but it looks to hilarious. I was going to get the book of Twilight today in the book store to read before I went to go see the movie but they were all out. Must be like a Harry Potter fad or something but with vampires. I can’t see how it could be more popular than Anne Rice although her movies didn’t turn out that well if you ask me. Then there is Brian Lumley which those I think were excellent and could potentially be excellent movies.
