What the…

You know, I can honestly say I hate my bank right about now. Last week they put a check through my account with a 5-digit check number. Now my question obviously was why they did this considering I’m only in the 3000 range for my checks? I mean seriously, who the hell writes a check with a check number like 34585 when you are no where near it? And then when I go up there to contest it they say they can’t do anything until their check image starts working properly? Bull. I had a check go through after that one and it showed up and I just checked again and it still isn’t showing up. They need to put my money back in the freaking account because I’m more likely than not going to close the thing. I cleaned it out last Friday so no more money would be taken out except for like 20 bucks cuz a $15.00 check will be clearing sometime. I’m furious. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened but I got the one cleared up straight away because it was an internet charge that I did not do.

  1. Oh, that sucks. I hope they get it sorted out soon. Maybe you should switch to another bank?

  2. I used to have a bank that would constantly give me errors and such - what a pain in the neck. Once they put my paycheck in the wrong acount and my account was overdrawn several times over.

It was a pretty big bank too… I decided to switch to a credit union and I get much better service, and features. I haven’t come across any major mistakes either. I’m a big fan of credit unions.
