We are now going to play the what is it game and hopefully someone out there has an answer. This little guy has been clinging to my back screen door all day today. It is bright green and at first I thought maybe a big cricket but that is out. He is too big.
We have been having a lot of rain this past day due to Beryl rolling around out there and it looks like for another 4-5 days as well. So I’m thinking he came out because it was wet. I dunno though. Anybody got a clues? 💡
I’ll give you a :cookie:

I have no idea what it is but I would have probably chased it away. Although the cats would probably love him.

My first guess is a katydid? They look like grasshoppers but are all green.
It could also be The Gigantic Green Flesh-Eating Bug. They’re native to the Antilles but due to the warm weather, they’ve been spotted here in North America. Scientists still can’t determine if the Green Bug eats flesh or the Bug eats Green Flesh. More studies are required, all needing large amounts of federal funds, as expected.

Hello. I am visiting from Entrecard. You have a very nice site 😀 I have no idea what that is above, either, sorry 🙁 It does look interesting. I probably would have slid him or her off on to a piece of paper and dropped it off on a nearby tree.
