So I first went and saw the DaVinci Code on Friday night. Even bought my tickets early because I was afraid it would be sold out. There was only a couple of seats left so I’m glad I did buy them early. There were also only 3 protestors with an itty bitty sign out and they just sat on the side of the road holding that sign. I heard at other theatres that night there were some louding protestors and more of them.
Saturday I bit the bullet and actually got a real hair cut and I was scared to death because I just usually have someone cut it straight across and keep it really long. Turned out great though I’m very pleased. Then I had to work after wards.
Sunday I got to work more on my tan and its coming along nicely
Even the dogs had fun lazily laying and playing around in the backyard. I even managed to clean up some more of the tree remnants with pine straw, pine cones and gumballs from those trees being taken down into a nice big pile in my side yard. Now I have to go buy some of those lawn bags the trash people want it all in to have them haul it off.

So… tell me - was the movie better than the critics say it is? Was it as good as or better than the book? I’m dying to see it - but it hasn’t come here yet.
I thought it was really good…I don’t ever go by what critics say but I usually think the opposite most times of what they say. The ending did not coincide with the book but I thought it was a good none the less. Definitely a must see.
I usually distrust film critics. They often pan the really good and socially or politically conscious movies. I liked the film and thought it was very well done. Of course they have to leave things out, but the important things were pretty much there.
