So I’m wandering down the hall to get a soda when I see a whole bunch of guys with new toilets being unpacked thinking this can’t be good. Now I’ve mentioned this in the past, these people are nasty here and will try to flush anything in them and get them clogged. They were high powered toilets too so it just amazed me. I saw one of the physicians walking down the hall from the other set of bathrooms when I mentioned we were getting new toilets I guess and she said they were swapping them out to low flow since the one bathroom she was just in has them now and I said well this can’t be good.
Not only are they wasting money on new toilets apparently for the entire hospital I can only imagine since they were all high flow toilets is that one of the maintenance people were walking through asking where we were going to be moving to and I was like eh? He says they are going to be renovating our entire area. Now let’s think about this for a second. Everybody is in a recession, the hospital has had to make a ton of cuts to programs, employees, making employees take furloughs, etc and they are seriously going to waste money to renovate our offices when no one sees them but us? I mean just in my area alone they will have to cordon the entire area off because of asbestos. It just amazes me at how much money is being wasted.
