Trials and Tribulations

Newbie [1] I feel like this lady at this point having to deal with Windows freaking 8. I mean what the hail was Bill Gates thinking when he doled out this piece of crap? Here’s my list of best to worst windows versions after the DOS version:

Windows 7
Windows XP
Windows 2000
Windows 8
Windows Vista
Windows ME

Sure, Windows 8 is in the middle and above Vista which was trash and nothing could have been worse than ME but I mean WTF people. No damn taskbar irks me to no end. Even the fake taskbar is garbage but I’m trying not to install classic shell – trying REALLLLLY hard because I’ve already put that on a desktop running Windows 8.

The media player was the next hit. I stream everything to my media player which was a no brainer to set up on Windows 7 on everything I own (media player, tablets, phone). Windows 8? Muahahahahaha. What a freaking joke. I think I finally got it figured correctly for the umpteenth time. It seems to be working today at least. We’ll see when tomorrow comes rolling around and I start to stream my crap again.

Oh and don’t get me started on their “app store”. I REFUSE to use it or even give them my email address. Windows 8 doesn’t come with spider solitaire? I’m not getting it through the app store, you can download that entire package online and it is made for the 64-bit versions you folks have too. Spider solitaire alive and well and is the exact ones that come with Windows 7. No Windows DVD Maker – that was a low blow Microsoft. No Media Center on this version either – booo

I dunno, this makes me want to use linux more and more each freaking day.

WELL SAID and ditto, althobI rank Win8 below ME. For its time, I thought ME was ok. With Win8, MS should have known better. I have even tried to wipe out 8 and reformat with Vista. Guess what? MS made it so we can’t do it! FAILLLLLLL.
