The Sky is Going to Fall

I honestly do not even know what to think about this. I just found out today that us measly state employees will be getting a $2,000.00 Christmas bonus this year. The last time I saw a bonus at this place was about 15 years ago, it was $300.00 and they taxed the son of a bitch. I have no earthly idea if this will be taxed or not but it is supposed to hit our accounts by weeks end so I am told as we are all supposed to have direct deposit now anyways. I can tell you that the people who are on the private sector of this institution are going to be beyond pissed off but you know what? Tough titties.

You know I knew I shouldn’t have believed these people. A coworker did some more digging and apparently our lovely institution did not budget for this so we don’t get it. Why ruin 15 years of nothing I guess. Idiots…

Screw the bonus. Steal some Xanax and pain meds, sell them on the street and you’ll make more than the bonus. Simple mathematics. Bring them up here and you’ll be a freakin’ millionaire.

LMAO, they keep those meds guarded in a machine that you have to put in your credentials to get.

Wow, that’s a shame that you don’t get your bonus after all! More people should realise that bonuses really help to motivate workers and increase production levels.

Bummer, it seems like decent Christmas bonuses are more and more a thing of the past.

Some kind of tax break or something? Or maybe the state is correcting an error. The government sure likes to take our money, I wouldn’t be quick to assume this is some form of altruism.
