The Puppy is in Trouble

Puppies are essentially like children getting into things they shouldn’t, chewing on stuff they shouldn’t and running off with stuff they shouldn’t have. I’m guessing a 4-month-old puppy would be the equivolent of a child in their terrible 2’s. She does something wrong, I spank her and tell her no and she likes what was that for, you couldn’t have really meant that and hops around like she’s the cutest thing (she is but she still needs punished). So, so far tonight in about an hours time she has shredded a brand new box of tissues that I had on the coffee table. She nabbed a coaster that I had some barrettes and hair scrunches in. She’s run off with some of my shoes to chew them up.

She is now locked in my extra bedroom with me so I can finish doing some work. She’s passed out on the pillow. I guess wrecking havic through the downstairs can do that to you huh?

  1. hiya,
yeah, puppies are like that…hahaha when we 1st got ours he opened a bag of my sugar free baskin robbins hard candies..they were each in their own individual wrappers and to this day i’ve only found 3 of them…he must have eaten the rest along w/ their wrappers! also…he opened a bag of pizza combos and ate the whole bag…it was one of those small bags that you get @ the gas stations.
he had the runniest, most explosive, poo i’ve ever seen after those two episodes…and he was SUPER thirsty, but nothing else seemed to be wrong. lol we called the emergency vet the 1st time cuz i wasn’t sure the wrappers were going to come out….hahaha

  4. Oh man do I love my puppy. He’s a Black Lab that apparently had some hound in him because he’s three now and still looks just like a puppy.

All the time people ask me if they can pet my puppy when I’m walking him. They’re all ga-ga and they can’t believe it when I tell them he’s three. You’d swear he was a 7 month old black lab.

  5. One day you will cry barrels of tears over the puppy. I have had many dogs and they were all part of our family. You can read a sad tale about our special puppy at oldmanlincoln.modblog.com if you think you can get through it.
