I’ve been holding off writing about this movie because, well, it just sort of sucked. I love watching Mark Walhberg but I’m not sure he should do movies like this too often or he will loose his fan base. I’ve never really been a fan of Will Ferrell even when he was on Saturday Night Live so there’s not much hope for me on that part. This movie reminded me of some sort of badly played movie spoof like Scary Movie or the new one Twilight but I’m not sure exactly what they were trying to base it off of in this one. Even Michael Keaton’s role sort of put me off and he’s a good actor in my opinion as well. Johnson and Jackson’s characters were short lived and essentially were the “dumb cops” but the popular ones. It’s almost as if there was a popularity contest and nobody really won.
I dunno folks, watch at your own risk but I’d say don’t even bother with a DVD rental, just wait until it shows up on TNT or FX or something and even then you’d be okay if you missed it. I’d give this a flailing solid D just because I don’t like giving F’s.

I don’t remember ever hearing about that movie. Now that I read your review I will definitely give it a miss.
I am so glad to hear your review. I hate dumb movies. I never got into Sat Nite Live. I have always thought I was odd because I simply don’t like that kind of humor.
