The Day Before Vacation

SUCKS!! Why is it the day before your vacation everything goes to hell. You are already trying to get things ready for the upcoming time you are out. Print out a list of phone numbers and schedules for the folks who are covering your phones. Tidy up your desk. Finish doing some tasks that needed to get done before you leave. But today was even worse because the person who normally covers my phones is going to be out for 6 weeks due to an emergency. Now you can’t blame her because things happen but why the hell do we have a personnel supervisor if I’m the one who has to keep checking up on her to find out what she is going to do? I already had a plan for the phones to be covered but obviously she didn’t like that one and is bringing in a temp for a week who’s more likely than not gonna screw something up and I’ll bet dollars to none that my boss is gonna cuss her out like he does all the others that are incompetent.

On a side note, getting cuts on the tips of your fingers are a bitch especially when you have to type all damn day cuz everytime you use that finger to push a key it hurts. :dontknow:

I got me some more lottery tickets for the powerball. Don’t bother looking at your tickets tonight because I just KNOW I’m gonna win mmkay?

Oh and why is that when you take your car up to the dealership to get body work done they won’t give you a loaner car anymore? I mean really, it’s the least they could do. So I’ll be without a car for most of my vacation for who knows how long :/

  1. I think it’s one of Murphy’s Laws that everything goes to shit before vacation.
