The Blackberry Shall Be Mine

bb8320Well I finally called the AT&T rep for the hospital today because my contract is up with crappy T-Mobile on June 22nd and I’m dumping them on May 22nd. I figure if I have to pay 50 bux 30 days prior to ending my contract might as well do it now to get out of the flipping contract instead of paying an extra month like I would have to if I waited until June 22nd.

So anyway, when I called the rep about the blackberry curve 8320 sapphire blue, the website still had $249.99 with $100.00 rebate on the website but when he looked in his computer his said $149.99 with $100.00 rebate so I’m only paying $49.99 for the sucker *woot* This offer only lasts until May 31st though so I WILL have this baby before I go to camp in June. Now I just wonder if I will have access in the mountains :???:

I got my first Blackberry about a year ago. While I love it, I have to admit that it has its downside. Being constantly connected to everyone can be a little stressful. If I don’t respond to an email immediately, people tend to get annoyed because they know I had access to my email and just chose not to respond.

I went to Peru a couple months ago and lost my phone there and thus spent two weeks without a phone. After going through what I would basically describe as withdrawal (I seriously felt lost without it) I realized that life is SO much more relaxing without it. BUT, I went ahead and used my upgrade to get a new one anyway. So it’s a love-hate relationship.

I also have t-mobile, and while I’m not a huge fan of them…since everyone I know how t-mobile (including my family) it’s much cheaper for me in the long run because we can all talk for free.

    Anyway, enjoy your new Blackberry!

Well I would have stayed with T-Mobile had they let me keep my same plan I started out with 8 years ago with Suncom.

I must say their customer service sucks donkey balls and I finally gave up and actually am paying more on my bill than I should because they never fixed it.

Yes, the service question is a big one.

I bought an iPhone and even though I checked the coverage maps, the moment that I go over a range that is near our house, I lose service pretty much until I go back down the range again.

Still my provider (Vodafone) has just implemented 3G where I live and service coverage has improved now that we’ve been brought into the telecommunications 21st Century

Maybe that will have fixed the issue, I hope so!
Hope that your new Blackberry meets your expectations.

Way to go on getting such a good deal. I want one. I’d probably never use all the features but it looks so cool! LOL

Save a little more and get the BOLD. Its worth the investment and way better than the CURVE.
