		<description>I have a few contentious family members that I would not want to spend holidays with even if it was an option (it&#039;s not,) so I can completely understand. 

Another thought raised by your post: I&#039;ve known quite a few people who have made it their habit to work on holidays so that others could have time off. Jewish folks working Christmas, Christians working the Jewish high holy days, singles working the holidays so others could be with family. Almost all of them (the ones I&#039;ve known personally) are in the medical professions. It doesn&#039;t surprise me at all that people who have dedicated their lives to such service would do this act of kindness for others.  :smile:
