Tennis or Racquetball?

I never could get the hang of this sport. Every time I’ve tried to play it, I end up shooting the ball up over the fence and it is a pretty freaking tall fence. I guess my mistake was playing racquetball first. Either way I love watching tennis. I have never been a fan of the womens side of tennis and I honestly cannot stand some of the women players out there right now due to their attitudes. Now the mens since is a whole other ballgame. My favorite players were back in the day of Agassi and Sampras. Watching Agassi get the ultimate 4 grand slams in one year was amazing. Something I know Sampras only wished he could have accomplished but that man has nothing to be ashamed of with all of his wins including 7 wins at Wimbledon.

We are lucky enough to get the Family Circle Cup here in my state but it’s all women. I wish I could get to some of the gram slam tournaments like the Australian Open or even Wimbledon but I know getting Wimbledon tickets must be hard. I’ll even bet those tickets get sold out early because it is a major tournament and with it being in Europe they have a better chance of more players entering. But just imagine being right there on the sidelines listening to them pound those tennis balls with all their might and watching some of them get so pissed off they start slamming things down. That is entertainment.

It’s always nice to find a fellow fan of both Agassi and Sampras. Are you looking forward to the French Open? I always look forward to routing against Federer in any case. Good luck getting to a Grand Slam someday.

I’m a tennis player myself. And yes, seeing the pros get upset and hurl their rackets across the court is quite entertaining. Let’s face it, we love drama.
