NFL Round-up Week #3

Monday, September 22nd, 2008 | Sports with Comments Off

So I haven’t really talked about any of the football weeks so far this season. Well now that time is sort of over because I can’t guarantee that I will do this again lol I had to post about this though because McNabb has actually proven his worth so far this season and I may even, dare I say it, see him through to the end of the season than what I had previously predicted of about 10 weeks and he’d be finished. He has been showing he can still move around like in week #2 and last week after that chest injury yesterday afternoon he still came back out in the 3rd quarter to finish the game. Now Westbrook, on the other hand, I hope does not have anything serious with his ankle. I gotta say though it was sweet watching them beat up on the Steelers. We should have won against Dallas in week #2 but it was just not meant to be. I actually fell asleep the last 5 minutes of that game. I feel so ashamed :/

Anyway, some more upsets which I can’t really fathom are that Miami beat the crap out of New England and Jacksonville beat Indianapolis. Who’d have thunk it?

All Hail the Giants

That’s right baby, the Giants kicked some Brady ass last night. I knew they could do it right if given a second chance and even picked them to win in our football pool although sticking my normal 38 points tie breaker might have been somewhat exuberant. But who cares, the Giants won!! Brady was getting his ass knocked over so many times he might as well just have sat on the sidelines. Now Manning, on the other hand, managed to squeeze out of an almost sack and through to Tyrese which surely helped then get that touchdown to Plaxico to win the game. Yaaa Baby!!

GIANTS 17 – PATRIOTS 14

Cheaters never win!!! Let’s see what the NFL commission does against the Patriots from video taping the other team early in the season.

Just in case you were interested in the superbowl ads they have them at at http://myspace.com/superbowlads

They kept flashing that through the entire game.

Well, we all knew the Patriots were going to the superbowl. The game was somewhat interesting. Now the Packers and the Giants woo boy. What a game. They changed hands so many times you didn’t know who was going to win. And Mannings father, man, they kept going to him in the box and he kept putting his head down because he could not watch. I do believe Tynes might have gotten an ear full even though he did finally put one through the uprights to win the game in OT which is only the second time that has every happened in the history.

Hopefully the Giants can beat New England this time around as they had a damn good shot at it the find game of regular season. They better rest up good.

Woo Hoo Post Season Rules!!!

DALLAS LOST!! DALLAS LOST!!

But why did the Colts lose? How does that happen? There is no way San Diego can beat New England next week not even on their best day. A whole lotta things would have to go wrong before they would win.

Green Bay and Seattle game in the snow was excellent!! I love watching games in the snow and my friend said that his team should have never gotten off of the plane to play that game lol Aww, there’s always next year.

New England/Jacksonville..not much to say about it.

Green Bay/New York Giants will be a tough game for all.

Friggin Giants could not hold out and beat the damn Patriots. I hate that team more so than the Cowboys this year because of their prima donna attitude about how great I am and ya’ll need to bow beneath me shit. It burns me that they are 16-0 and I knew the Giants had the most excellent shot at cabashing that record at the end of the season.

Now speaking of the Cowboys, they got their asses handed to them by the Redskins. Beautifully done if you ask me and I thoroughly enjoyed watching that game. Now they just gotta get beat in the upcoming weeks because I don’t want to see them in the superbowl. Then again I don’t want to see New England either so hopefully the Giants will be able to play them again and beat them this time around.

The only other thing I have issues with is why the Falcons beat Seattle…anybody?

Holeee hell, did you ever imagine in your wildest dreams that Miami would pull a win out this season? I didn’t but they proved us all wrong. The owner was crying he was so happy. I was truly in awe.

I watched my beloved Eagles kick some Cowboy ass and I was thrilled but would have been even more thrilled had I actually bet on them to win. I mean c’mon did you really think they could’ve pulled it out?

I sooo wished I had been able to watch the Buffalo game. I love, love, LOVE watching football games in the snow. I did get to watch the Pittsburgh game which had a few snow flurries but nothing compared to what Buffalo was having to deal with.

Seahawks vs Panthers: I didn’t think anybody was going to get any points and then Seattle loses? Fricken cheerleaders need to get more practice in me thinks.
