I’ve Been Scammed

I was super duper excited when I saw this 10 second clip. I thought hells to the ya another Ferris Bueller movie with them all groweded up.

I mean who wouldn’t think that right? RIGHT?!?

Here’s the full length commercial you will see during the SuperBowl and when I saw it I knew I was scammed.

Considering SuperBowl ads this year are between $2.6-2.8 million for a 30 second slot and this is almost 2 1/2 minutes. I’d say it was welllllll worth it. The bear moving back and forth in the seat is fricken hilarious.

And for the puppy lovers and Star Wars fans, this ones for you!! It’s called The Bark Side.

College E-mails

Wednesday, January 18th, 2012 | General with 2 Comments

Every now and then I get e-mails from public safety at the college. They usually send these in mass e-mails even if some of us never step foot on campus for a class. I got a good chuckle out of todays. I mean, I feel sorry for the guy who’s car got stolen but who drives around in a car looking like this on purpose??

Today, at approximately 2:00 pm, Public Safety received a report that a student’s 1985 Burgundy Buick Electra 300 was stolen from the “Romeo” parking lot adjacent to Building 410. The vehicle is described as having a South Carolina license plate, 22 inch chrome rims, a San Francisco 49ers helmet decal on the hood, and a San Francisco 49ers license plate on the front.

Maybe they were die hard 49er fans?? Or maybe they hated the team so much they wanted the car to damage it?? Who knows but as it is a 1985 they MAY not be going far in it since it’s so old.

Superbowl 2010 Ads

okay peeps, what was your favorite? what was your worst? Did you even watch last night? The half time show was a bore. The Who, they keep bringing in the older crowd after that wardrobe malfunction with Janet Jackson. I hear they want to book The Eagles next year. Now that group I could get behind listening to.

Anywhoo, some of my favorites were in no particular order except to say that of course Budweiser was my absolute favorite with the Clydesdale’s. The entire set of commercials can be found here.

TruTV Polamalu commercial. I thought this was fricken awesome.

Coca-Cola commercial. This one beat the Simpsons one hands down. I hate the Simpsons.

Vizio commercial The groundhog was cute.

And now the best commercial of them all is Budweiser commercial.

You know there was also a Snickers one I liked with Betty White but it doesn’t seem to be listed. Odd.

Poor Lions

nfllions So I guess after the beat down with a 0-16 season last year Detroit has revamped their team logo to make them seem more ferocious and inside I’m just dying laughing because really who is going to believe this? You do see it right? They added teeth to the lion now. It’s quite funny. I think I might have a smiley that could go up against the lion. Ferocious enough for you? And it’s blue too lol

And in other news that interests me is that I still can’t believe we gave up 3, count them 3 fricken draft pick slots to pick up Peters as LT. Are they insane? They need to be using those kinds of trades on an effin wide receiver. What’s the matter with Andy?? Is he listening to McNabb because he doesn’t want to get a beat down every week? :???:

I’ve had an Epiphany!

golionstshirt You guys should know by now that I am a football fanatic. That’s NFL football only. I consider college ball practice football and arena football pretend practice football. Sure I might get flack from that but so what, those are my opinions. Since one of my friends has moved back to Seattle, who by the way is a diehard Seattle fan, has taken it upon himself to inundate his 2 grandchildren with Seattle garb and then proceeds to send me pictures of it all. Well this past February when they turned 1 he did it again and I’m like you are corrupting those kids. So I had a brilliant idea of getting a couple of printed t-shirts made with the Lions logo on it saying Go Lions as seen above. He would probably be in total shock at first and then start to die laughing but the funny thing is he would put it on the kids too just to take a picture and send it to us :) Now what he would do after that photo op I’m not too sure. inkytshirt

Now this second photo is of my little kitty Inky that died a couple years ago. I could have one of her cute photos on a tshirt and could wear her around forever. These two shirts were mocked up in a couple of minutes as I already had the picture and logo on my hard drive to use. I just needed to pick short sleeve or long sleeve shirt, the color option of the shirt, and to choose my own image. It loaded it up immediately and I got a birds eye view of what that shirt would look like if I had it in my hot little hands. The shirts are 100% cotton which I like and the more shirts you buy the cheaper your discount will be. I could see this being abused by a huge selection of sports fanatics who want to rub their wins in other peoples faces and/or making bets that they must wear an opposing teams shirt.

NFL Round-up Week #3

Monday, September 22nd, 2008 | Sports with Comments Off

So I haven’t really talked about any of the football weeks so far this season. Well now that time is sort of over because I can’t guarantee that I will do this again lol I had to post about this though because McNabb has actually proven his worth so far this season and I may even, dare I say it, see him through to the end of the season than what I had previously predicted of about 10 weeks and he’d be finished. He has been showing he can still move around like in week #2 and last week after that chest injury yesterday afternoon he still came back out in the 3rd quarter to finish the game. Now Westbrook, on the other hand, I hope does not have anything serious with his ankle. I gotta say though it was sweet watching them beat up on the Steelers. We should have won against Dallas in week #2 but it was just not meant to be. I actually fell asleep the last 5 minutes of that game. I feel so ashamed :/

Anyway, some more upsets which I can’t really fathom are that Miami beat the crap out of New England and Jacksonville beat Indianapolis. Who’d have thunk it?
