Well, it is flu season again and people are already freaking out over it. I’ve had a few calls from some of our patients parents wanting to know if we had a stock of it yet and if it would cover the swine flu. It is rolling into the hospital now so in a couple of weeks we should have a full supply I’m guessing.
One of my friends nephews is in college and I can only guess by now that his entire frat house has it as it has been spreading through there like wildfire. They essentially have been quarantined in there own place lol
I still won’t get the flu shot though. Don’t believe in it and no one is going to change my mind about it either.

I heard on the nightly news that one student at my son’s alma mater had the Swine Flu. We found out if was one of the guys who had been a groomsman in my son’s wedding! He is doing better and is recovering.
I won’t get it either. If people would just learn to wash their hands often, and stay home when they are sick as much as possible, it wouldn’t be a problem!

I’m a bit concerned. As an emergency room nurse, I come in contact with a lot of different illnesses before a definitive diagnosis is made. People love to cough, sneeze and puke on me…Hope they come up with a working vaccine quickly
