They would bring in all sorts of things as "presents," which was always greatly appreciated. Now that I live in the city, my cat doesn't go outside, but I'm always worried he'll bring me some partially alive cockroach or something. That hasn't happened yet, but he does bring me his mangled toy mice after he's finished "killing" them. Our cats used to be hunters.
