Ever since the company refused to fix my watch anymore due to it being out of warranty and supposedly parts not available I have been on the hunt for a watch just even similarly close to it because I know there is no way to get the exact watch anymore. I mean heck I bought it when I was still a senior in high school and that was almost 20 years ago. I’ve even looked at the Casio watches which I don’t really mind if they had more color choices. I like the blue face dial of the silver one here but prefer gold bands like the one on the right but despise a black face. How exactly does one view anything on there is my question because it’s so dark. Of course the blue face isn’t that much lighter but I like the color of it. My old one had a cream face and I could even tell the time in the middle of the night because the hour/minute hands glowed which was nice because I’m blind as a bat without my glasses or contacts in. I may have to bite the bullet though and get the Casio Atomic Executive Waveceptor which is the silver band with blue face because I am thinking I may not be able to get a gold band one anytime soon.

The Wave Ceptor watches are interesting in that they have atomic timekeeping which automatically sets the time daily using calibration radio signals from Fort Collins, Colorado so long as you are in a 2,000 mile radius as well as receiving data for the other advanced functions on the watch which include 5 time zones. Now I love the fact that it is solar powered. Saves on battery usage. Heck I can’t say for sure if there is a battery in there from looking at the specs but I’m becoming more intrigued by the minute.
