Time for the superbowl and your choices this year include the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. I'm hoping the Packers win because I've never been a fan of the Steelers even before Big Ben got into all of his trouble. Now aside from actually watching the game food plays a HUGE part in the festivities. At least when I go places it does. We have a big fan fair of food we make and bring with us or order in. TABASCO® Original Red also plays a big part because of its spicy taste. Now I'm not sure about you folks but a Game-Day Party Menu does not happen without some wings and pizza. We order the wings from our local restaurant to take with us unless we watch the game there. Now the order for these wings is hot but not just hot. Hotter than hot and make it interesting. Only one guy has been up to the task when we started seeing red pepper flakes as well as jalapeno's in the hot sauce. But you need the Tabasco to get the right flavoring. I personally like sprinkling some Tabasco on my pizza to make the Pizza Perfected.
If you have never tried Tabasco give it a whirl because it is not truly hot like you might think. It's a wonderful blend of flavors (salt, red pepper, and vinegar) that makes anything taste that much better. Heck, I even dip celery in it. Lay off of the red pepper in the chili just a little bit and add some Tabasco. I've got all sorts of idea people but what are your best combinations?
