And it’s a wonder on what you learn while you sit there for hours. I was at the local watering hole last night and one of the waitresses asked me to take her to the ER which I had no problems with because something was wrong with her eye. So we’re sitting there amongst a slew of other people, just listening. It’s amazing what people have to say while sitting there and most of them on the phone at 1 AM. I couldn’t for the life of me fathom who they were calling and that would be functional to talk at that time in the morning especially on a Saturday night because I know most of my buddies were either passed out drunk or on their way to that point and wouldn’t have been able to hear the phone ring anyways. Now some of the folks must frequent that place on a regular basis because they were bringing in pillows and blankets. That makes you wonder even more. Ah well, her boyfriend showed up somewhere near 2 AM and I went home to crash.
