Sherlock Holmes

This has been a long time coming as it were since this movie just came out Christmas day. Of course I went to go see it since I did not have anything else to do. I also made sure I bought my ticket online the day before so I wouldn’t have had to go through that sold out fiasco with Alvin the Squeakquel. It was almost sold out by the time the movie finally started too.

Now if you love Robert Downey, Jr, then you will love this movie. He plays a mean Sherlock Holmes and Jude Law as Watson was a compliment to the entire movie. This movie was about 2-2 1/2 hours long and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Kept more entertained than Avatar I must say in that I wasn’t looking to see how long I had been in the movie and how much longer I might have to be there lol I even got the same seat I had when I went to see the Alvin movie because it was in the same theatre. The only annoying thing was that my phone was going off like hotcakes. Must’ve had about 20 or so emails and some text messages lol

I’m not sure which book this is based off of only due to the fact that I have never read any of them, shocking I know. I might just have to buy them now just in case they choose to do a few more of these movies. Of course this one was the serial killer who happened to like the occult as well and of course a well to do one at that. Seems to me that this is some sort of plot in almost any popular series isn’t it? Either way, a must see movie especially if you want to see Downey all buff in a fight with his shirt off. Hopefully he will stay off the drugs and alchy to keep in tip top shape for more roles as he is very talented in my opinion. Even when he did that stint on that show I think was called Ally McBeal? You know the one with the dancing baby, he was probably 3 sheets to the wind on most of those shoots but held it together enough to do a pretty good job. That was the only time I watched that show was when he was on it.
