Setting High Temperature Records

I figured this summer we’d have alot more high temperature record breaking going on already but I guess it has to get into at least the 100s before that happens like yesterday. We broke the high temp record at a even 100. With the humidity down here it was at least 115+. Heat advisories day in and day out. The weather people say we’re going to have a heat break though this weekend at a mere high 80s (ie 88,89) oooo

I figure if this keeps up maybe my grass will die so I won’t have to mow it anymore since we haven’t had rain for about a week. Oddly enough my plants are thriving out the wazoo and I think I have a dove living out of one of the pots as there’s a deep indentation in the soil in the middle of the pot. I may hang up an extra pot I have laying around and put straw in that so maybe they’ll pick that one instead.
