Movie time again. It has been a while but with the nearing of the end of the year there will be more to come for sure as I need to use up the excess in my vacation leave so I don’t loose it. Bruce Willis is one of my go to actors in a movie. Some weren’t so good but this one definitely was. And it was another one that had an all star cast. Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, and a somewhat small part with Ernest Borgnine who I also like to watch a lot.

In this movie, the actors are playing parts more towards their age as they are retired CIA assassins. The CIA has a hit out on the retirees because they were in an OP way back when involving the current VP of the United States who cannot have it come to light. All the action that I like is there. I’m surprised it wasn’t number 1 though. It should have been. It is a great movie.

There were kids in there again though on a Friday at 11:40 AM when I went. I cannot comprehend why parents would take their child out of school to go see a movie. What about the education? You can’t take them on a weekend?

I thought it was a great movie. I really enjoyed it. I was surprised that it was only #2 and really surprised at what movie was #1 that weekend.

It doesn’t surprise me to see kids out during the day anymore. We have quite a few year round schools. It seems like they are always off on a break. Things sure have changed since I was in school.

What IS it with Helen Mirren?? She’s in everything these days. What is she, 65 years old? I remember her from waaaaay back, back when I was an actress and she was just starting to get her foot in the door here. I think she was only known in Britain back then. Wow, time flies…
