So I guess after the beat down with a 0-16 season last year Detroit has revamped their team logo to make them seem more ferocious and inside I’m just dying laughing because really who is going to believe this? You do see it right? They added teeth to the lion now. It’s quite funny. I think I might have a smiley that could go up against the lion.

And in other news that interests me is that I still can’t believe we gave up 3, count them 3 fricken draft pick slots to pick up Peters as LT. Are they insane? They need to be using those kinds of trades on an effin wide receiver. What’s the matter with Andy?? Is he listening to McNabb because he doesn’t want to get a beat down every week?

I wouldn’t be too upset about giving up a first, a fourth, and what will most likely be a sixth rounder last year for Peters, who is an elite LT when it comes right down to it.
You have to look at it from this perspective from the Eagles: Tra Thomas is gone. Runyan is coming off surgery and is 35, not to mention unsigned. They need someone to keep the blindside heat off McNabb, especially when in the NFC East, where everyone has decent to excellent pass rushers.
There is still talk that Philadelphia might go after Chad Ocho Cinco or Anquan Boldin, but that is anyone’s guess really.
Rachel Maddow talked about this tonight…I hope the new “ferocious” lion brings them some much needed luck this next season!
