Well, if you have not heard the news, PayPerPost has now acquired Performancing.com. Selling ads is not new to the masses as there are alot of places where you can pick some up. With PayPerPost acquiring Performancing one would hope that a more level playing field will ensue in regards to the people who own good quality blogs but do not have the ratings that some advertisers are looking for per say for the blog advertising. Because of this, you might not get the opportunities to post something that might have some relevance on your blog to begin with and get more readers than they might suspect. The pricing is always a sore point with the smaller blogs because of the criteria they base this on as it caters more to the larger more heavily trafficked blogs. What seems to be the big problem though is the advertisers not wanting you to show their ads due to your low priority in that big bad web world.

Overall, I think this will be a good thing for PayPerPost. They have the means to bring in more advertisers and match them up well with the bloggers. Hopefully this means the little blogs too. PayPerPost will not acquire, however, the Performancing for Firefox and the Performancing Partners technology.
