So I found out maybe a month ago that my local cable station (Knology) is not going to be offering the NFL Network anymore stating that “Due to excessive licensing fees, Knology will not be carrying the eight special LIVE NFL regular season games on the NFL Network. All cable customers would have been required to pay a higher fee, regardless of their interest level. We felt passing the costs onto all customers was unfair and not in everyone’s best interest. The schedules for your hometown NFL team or any of the other NFL games carried on NBC, CBS, Fox and ESPN will not be affected.”
Now here’s my question, if I’m willing to pay for the NFL Network no matter what the cost what business is it of theirs to not allow me to do so? Hell, I told the owner of the bar I frequent because he uses Knology as well and he hadn’t heard that and was like your kidding. Sadly, I wasn’t :/
