I think my dryer died in part. Luckily I did most of my laundry yesterday and only had 1 load today. I pulled out the clothes and thought hmm, why are they still wet? Wasn’t that many. Close the door and start it up only to hear some freaky noise. Greattt…so I go digging for my paperwork on the thing looking to see how long a warranty lasts. One year people, why is it a warranty only lasts one damn year?? It will cost me $69.95 just for the technician man to walk through the door to even see what is wrong with the dryer and if I chose not to get it fixed I still owe him that. This would be money I don’t necessarily have either. My PT job has been very, very slow and it will not improve until next year because of all the holidays.

Dryer repair isn’t too hard. Thankfully only a couple of parts regularly give out. Is the drum turning? If not it’s likely the belt or pulley. Otherwise it’s probably the heating element. Google your specific dryer and you should be able to find a guide to appliance repair. Parts are relatively cheap, it’s the labor that kills you.
I hate when services charge you just for someone to see what is wrong. I took my car in when the check engine light came on and it was going to cost me 100 bucks just to have the mechanic look at it. garbage.
Have you made sure there is no fuzz or lint in the hose thingy (technical term) that goes to the outside? My mom thought hers broke down a few years ago and it was lint blocking the flow of air.
I ended up getting a hold of my BIL after I posted this and he is gonna come look at it since he isn’t working this week after he fixes it of course
when the thing is on its makes a freaky noise so I dunno
