Well last night instead of going out I worked until a little after 10 PM and then went searching for the little booklet that came with my Guess watch. Now mind you I have 2 of these watches but only 1 book because I lost the first one years ago. So I go to my night stand looking for it because that is where I had it last. I usually keep all the important stuff there. I found my birth certificate card and my shot records there so obviously that had to be there too. No such luck. Some rings and earrings I don’t wear, some candles, some games, some lotion, some other toys. No watch booklet. Well, what in the hell? I finish cleaning out that drawer and throw some things away and get to the one below it for a by chance it might be there. Nope but I throw away some things in there too.
Then it is off to the downstairs entertainment stand. That is a black hole so I start rummaging through the crap. After about an hour I have a big pile of garbage on the floor with a lot more space in the entertainment stand which is 3 huge 6 foot by 2 foot pieces but no watch booklet so I can send these things back to get new batteries and one of them the face fixed because it keeps getting condensation in it.
Then I start in on the kitchen table because that ends up being my drop off point when I come into the house because I have to start there to let the dogs out. Old coupons, old mail, literally trash I brought in from my car that never made it to the trash can.
I ended up with 2 bags of garbage. How in the hail can so much crap accumulate? That’s what I ended up doing on New Years Eve. What’d you do?
