This, my fellow friends, is the the enemy down south. It doesn’t discriminate between humans or animals. Everybodies fair game day or night. Even mowing the grass today in midafternoon I was getting eaten up by those blood suckers. Of course they have to stalk you first to make sure there’s enough blood for everyone and then WHAM you get attacked by hundreds of them. Ok, ok maybe not hundreds but it sure as hell seems like that many. They dont even disappear during the winter around here and there is a distinct possibility that you could be on the list for a sneak attack to tide them over until summer when there are more of them. Ah well, time to let the dogs out again and brave the backyard of mosquito’s again.

Popped B. Explosion on while cropping a photo to post.
How ironic is this. I was about to post a red/purple sunrise but I’m not near water ….and I see your **STUNNING** WOWSER new pic across the top of your blog! Do you show in a gallery?
Creepy skeeter photo b/c I’m allergic to those *&^&!@* things & yep, they abound here. Almost makes me wish 4 snow. (Notice that key word “almost.”)
I get all my photos from morguefile.com
They have an excellent selection. I’m too lazy to capture pictures like that at my beaches lol
I can’t believe you brought that 4-letter word into my blog for shame lol….I actually don’t think snow would do anything with the skeeters though, they’d live through it I’d bet.
Great pic! I hate mosquitos!!
Don’t you just hate those nasty buggers
Whew, those aren’t your photos! (Thx for the resource though. I will ogle ‘em! ) I posted my sunrise pic before seeing this. BTW, that was not a “4 letter word” but I wasn’t sure of your blog rules so I used symbols.
Snow kills skeeters where I live! Problem is other things bite me….all yr long.
lol that 4 letter word was snow
You can cuss all u want…
They’re awful, and we’re getting them up in OH now. It’s amazing how fast they land and stick you.
