The Rules: I’m going to ask FOUR QUESTIONS that everyone can answer and then you have the option to add a fifth question of your own for those who are visiting your blog to answer in the comment section, along with commenting on the four standard questions you answered!
1. When would you consider planting flowers or vegetables at your residence?
You betcha but not in the ground. I am getting this massive pot to plant some tomatoes and cucumbers and have it sitting on my back porch.
2. What is more egregious; cheating on one’s spouse or spending the family into being bankruptcy?
Eh, I’d have to go with cheating. You can always get extra jobs to replace the money.
3. In honor of Pi Day this week, what is your favorite kind of pie?
Cherry pie with lots of whipped cream.
4. Would would you give Wayne @ Touristic for his birthday today?
I’m the queen of gift cards so that’s what I would give him and he can buy whatevers rattling around in that brain of his that he thinks he wants
And your question is:
Do you hate taking tests/quizzes or personality tests when applying for new jobs?
I don’t feel that gives you a true estimate about a person.

Personality tests are the worst because you know it just means that they are looking for a certain type of individual.

I have never had to take a personality test for job interviews although I have had to take writing and editing tests when I first started out in the corporate world. At this point, I have so many writing samples, there is no reason to make me take any kind of test.

A lot of the personality tests have the hidden agenda of rating how ethical you are. I’ve taken lots of them and I don’t really mind.
