Acting Balanced

The Rules: I’m going to ask FOUR QUESTIONS that everyone can answer and then you have the option to add a fifth question of your own for those who are visiting your blog to answer in the comment section, along with commenting on the four standard questions you answered!

1. Do you decorate outdoors for the holidays?
Heck no. That takes time and energy, neither of which I chose for that. It just means you would have to take it all down again and I don’t even put up a tree. It is just me so there really is no point.

2. What is the best thing about office Christmas parties?
We don’t really have “office” parties per say. Some of us will get together at my bosses house for our Christmas party because, well, we don’t want to have a party with the entire office.

3. Gloves or Mittens?
Gloves! I can’t stand mittens. Which reminds me I need to fish mine out because this morning was freezing.

4. What do you think of Secret Santas?
Always a gamble in my opinion.

And your question is:
5. Did you brave Black Friday – or rather Thanksgiving Day – shopping this year? Not me. I tried one year for a TV and that was enough to keep me at home. I don’t like shopping anyways.

No Thanksgiving weekend shopping for me! I’m done with my Christmas shopping, and for that I’m very thankful!

No Black Friday shopping for me even though the Canadian retailers were trying to keep Canadians on this side of the border.

Seems like we share a common liking of Christmas. Thanks for joining up with the MQAM, hope to see you again next week.

I beg my husband to put up lights on the outside of our house and so far it has worked. I don’t mind doing the black Friday shopping. It is fun to be part of the hoopla, as long as I don’t really need to find anything and just have fun. I have been doing most of my shopping online.

My husband puts up lights outside every year. I don’t get involved in that because it is cold. I did some shopping on Black Friday and we actually went to the mall. It wasn’t too bad although the Apple store gave me anxiety. It was worth it at the end.
