Mac & Cheese

Since I posted the banana bread recipe, I figured I’d post my most favorite of all foods. Homemade mac & cheese of course. This recipe I know by heart and got it from one of the food network channel shows. I couldn’t even tell you which one by now as it has been years. Now of course if you want it more cheesier, add more cheese, duh.

Put your oven on 350 degrees. Cook 1 lb of macaroni until al dente, drain and set aside. Using the same pot, put in 2 Tbsp. of flour and butter to make a roo, then add 2 cups of milk, salt and pepper to taste. Once that puts a thin coating on the back of your spoon throw in the cheese (2 cups - any kind you want, I use sharp/mild cheddar) and let that melt. Then put your macaroni back in to mix, put it in a baking dish and off to the oven it goes for 30 minutes when you pull the dish out, sprinkle some cheese on top, push it back in for 5 minutes and then it is done. Now you have ooey, gooey goodness.
