New Year, new problems? Was driving to a friends house and I had cracked the window to let one of my stray hairs fly out and the damned thing would not go back up. WTF right? What exactly else could go wrong? I sure as heck did not want the window left down, it’s effin cold down her if you hadn’t guessed. They are talking snow this Thursday/Friday.
So the down low on what is wrong with my vehicle in no particular order. Anybody got a clue how much this could cost? I’ve researched part prices but I can only imagine the mechanic fees for all of this. Now mind you the cars not under warranty anymore.
- Horn replaced/fixed? Horn does not work on steering column but will work off of the remote. I’ve had this replaced via warranty about 3-4 times previously already.
- A/C-Heat motor? Not sure what it is exactly called but have had that replaced under warranty once already too. It’s rattling again. It’s right underneath the glove box.
- Reverse lights don’t work. Have had fused checked – that’s working.
- Speedometer sensor needs replaced.
- Fuel gauge sensor needs replaced.
- Possibly just drivers window motor needs replaced? I’ve been very careful about opening this because I really don’t want to get it stuck and seems to be working okay now as I will test to see if it works with baby steps and then halfway down to let myself in and out of the garage using my key card. This actually makes me wonder if the other window and sunroof will get stuck sometimes now or if they are on different motors.
I figure that’s way more wrong than I want but the suckers almost paid for and I love this car lol I just have bad luck. There is nothing wrong with the body.
