Loads of people are into poker and blackjack these days because of the Travel Channel showing the PPT. Now I may not be as good as some of those folks on the television but I can hold my own with home games with family and friends. And I’ll pretty much take any shot I can at raking in the dough. To make it a good experience, you need to get yourself some home game packages so the people you are playing with know you are serious about taking their money from them.

Myself and a friend went to Vegas about 2 years ago for another friends wedding and of course we had to do a little gambling there. Let me tell you, some people are not cut out to gamble as he lost a lot of money at the blackjack table. With home games, you can practice at these so when you go back to Vegas or Atlantic City you will have a better shot and walking away with some of your money instead of nothing. There is nothing like experience at the big hotels but home games are more friendly. Plus you can learn tricks with your very own poker chips and show them off next time you are at a casino.
