You know, I gotta say I am not surprised these have taken so long to come out considering how many people use Christmas lights and how long they actually keep them up for. I mean I can see Christmas lights around here all year round and not only will they just be hanging up because those folks were too lazy to take them down but they actually turn them ON. I know, I know, it should be my duty to inform them about the LED Christmas lights so that they can help save energy while they insist on turning them on nightly. Not only would they be saving themselves a bit of money on their own electric bill but if we could get at least 20% of these folks to use them, they could be saving enough energy to power 200 homes for an entire year. That is a considerable amount of energy if you ask me.
The LED Christmas lights are long-lasting with upwards to 50,000 hours or more, safe to use with only 1 degree above ambient temperatures, and of course energy efficient as previously mentioned. Don’t think you are limited to just the plain ole Christmas lights either, they have many versions and sizes and even Halloween LED lights! A funny quirk to any of these Christmas lights, though, that I have found is that if you put them low enough on the trees, the animals like playing with them because they are something bright and small.
