Knowing When To Quit

So last night was the first night of the new fall league of bowling. Now I never practice, haven’t done that in years. It’s just a thing, I can go in the first frame and start striking. Once in a while during tournaments I will throw a few practice balls just to get a feel for the lanes as it is always in a different house than I am used to or lanes. But last night? Ohhmygawd…I have a 200 average and my first game I got a zero, yep you read that right a zero….all the way through. Of course I didn’t bowl after that game. I mean really what the hail couldv’e happened from last season to this one? Sure my back is still injured but doesn’t hurt me right now. I could’ve been subconsciously worried about injuring it again because at the end of the last season I was eating percocet like it was out of style while in a tournament. Ya I know. Other than that I haven’t a freaking clue, it just kept sliding off the lane. Unbelievable and sadly they wouldn’t give me a patch for it either…bastards lol
