I don’t know where all this freaking cold weather came from but it sure as hell needs to leave immediately. Most people down her cannot handle this kind of bone chilling weather me included but at least I haven’t brought out a Parka to wear like I saw this morning when some girl had hers on with the hood up on her head and gloves on. Seriously, it’s mid 40s at the moment but it’s going to warm up to the upper 60s according to the weatherman and then you are going to have to cart around a big ass coat? Makes no sense. I think I may have to put on an extra blanket though until it’s time to pull out my heavy duty comforter as I caught a bit of a chill last night.
Ah yes, next weeks temps back up in the mid 70s which probably will turn into upper 70s if not some 80s. I feel sorry for those folks up north, I saw there’s a noreaster already settling over New Jersey which begs the question of how ready are you for winter??

Fall and spring are wonderful times of the year–except for dressing. It’s such a pain, isn’t it? Doesn’t sound like you have to worry too much about it most of the time, at least. Of course, summer often requires layers, since the warmer it is outside, the colder many business seem to think it should be inside. Hello? Air conditioning in restaurants set to sixty-two degrees? Ridiculous.
I love your blog template, by the way.
New York weather changes over night — in a New York minute is a better cliche. And it always changes drastically. We’ve been staying in the low 50s lately, but its been damp and windy, which always makes it feel colder.
I normally look forward to winter all year long, but they’re predicting that this winter will be especially harsh this year, and I’m not sure I’m up for it.
You are way braver than I…I won’t go live where there is snow anymore. I can’t even stand the cold whether we get here now.
