Really, that’s what I should name my dogs now because that seems to be all they are doing. I know it has to do with the heat and I should give them more baths than I do now but they don’t take well to them what so ever. I actually had this past Friday off too and still did not give them a bath. Shame on me but it’s rough when they do not like them.
Now you are probably wondering well what exactly do you use when you are fighting with the dogs to give them baths? Well, it is not dog shampoo unfortunately. I use the shampoo for me, quite expensive shampoo at that. I still do not for the life of me know why either because it is not like I cannot just pick up a bottle at the store when I get their food or order a bottle on line like Dinovite.
Honestly, if I had to choose from the 4 options that they offer which include Essential Oil Blend, Lavender, Peppermint/Tea Tree or Unscented I would opt for the Essential Oil Blend. Not only does it help with fleas and ticks which I seem to have a problem with also now probably from the mole *snicker* but I think the itchiness is from their dry skin since they are short haired dogs and this heat and humidity is a killer.
In case you really live out in the sticks all 4 options will eliminate skunk odor if that might be a problem. Thankfully no skunks in my area as far as I know. I seem to get the same snapping turtle in my yard from the other side of the fence except this year and I still have yet to figure out how he does it too.
In case you were wondering, I think Pepper is Itchy and Stormy is Scratchy just to clear that tidbit up

I was talking to one of my friends the other day who haven’t been in the US for long, and they saw a skunk for the first time. They were trying to describe it and was shocked when they said they were going to pet it. But then it ran away. I told them to never ever ever touch a skunk. EVER.

We just recently got a dog. How often should dogs get baths? Have you actually used this shampoo?
