A friend got final word today that he got the job in Washington and will be leaving in just 2 weeks for a start date of November 12th. It is a double edge sword as it were for all his friends over here because all of his family is over on that coast, except for 2 brothers, including his daughter who is pregnant in California as I type this with twins due in February. Of course nobody could pass up the money that they were throwing at him either and who could blame him? It is just sad to see a friend go but we all know it is in his best interests and he will be so much closer to all of his family.
