Okay, so this past month I’ve been registering and reserving for meetings, flights and hotels for one of my physicians in europe. In August, it is the UK, Austria and Italy. Those were not really a problem as the program brochures came with hotel names/addresses/phone numbers. However, in September he will be going to the Czech Republic and Greece. Now there was one hotel he specifically wanted to get into in Greece, so I hop on the web and go to their website only to find out its already booked. So then I try to find a hotel somewhat close to that one only to come across a problem which has totally and utterly pissed me off now which is that I can’t find a freaking street map of Greece ANYWHERE. Mapquest, Google, just searching for hotels with maps, NOTHING. I’m not a damn travel agent and don’t have an adequate supply of maps, hell I don’t even have a supply of maps for the US, those are readily available and can be found in a split second on Mapquest and Google. But why on earth can one NOT find a street map of any city in any country overseas??
And if there is please inform me because this is irking me now. I’ve already shot off an email to the program meetings director to get some information and/or maps sent to me somehow.
