I Need More Wall Art

If you ever have the chance to see my place you probably would wonder why I have such huge furniture with a freaking behemoth of a black leather sectional couch to a 6 foot 3-piece tall entertainment stand with one lousy piece of wall art with dolphins. I can only tell you that the frame matches the furniture as it is all in black as is the entertainment stand and my sister gave it to me I think years and years ago. I’ve always wanted more wall art but never knew what I should get or if it should be just to my tastes only.

Now knowing that Mothers Day is soon coming up I sometimes get my mother a vase of flowers. I must admit though it has been some years since I have done this. I do believe the very last one I gave her was an urn type vase that had a lid to it. Now it also just so happened that her most beloved pet toy poodle had died earlier and she had him cremated and his ashes were just in a plain black box. She then transferred them to the vase that had a butterfly on it and popped the lid on it and he sits up front on the mantel. I think it would be a great idea to get a photo to canvas option so she could have something nice to put on the wall by her desk to look at. I know when my cat died I had her cremated and she is in a kitty urn on my entertainment stand but I just have a little 4 x 6 photo on my desk of her. Pets are more powerful than one might think.

You may even remember that one movie with Harrison Ford in it called Working Girl where Melanie Griffith is having to stay at her bosses house after leaving her boyfriend and sees one of the images with her boss in it. It actually is one of the photo to pop art images where they take an image and make 4 different versions of the same thing on the same canvas with different odd colors. Not to sure I like it but some people go for it.
