Conversation went something like this:

Me: Don’t I have lifetime warranty on the brakes for my car as I cannot find the paperwork. (He sold me the car)

BIL: No, that is just for something faulty. Does not include brake pads. Which do you need, front or back?

Me: I didn’t even know there were back brakes, the front brakes.

BIL: Laughing. I can do it tomorrow.

Me: How long does it take?

BIL: About 10-15 mins per side.

Me: Then why do I spend about 4 hours in there?

BIL: Because they drive up the costs for women.

Now, if I had known it only took that long before I soo would have bitching at them everytime I waited that long. Next time, if he doesn’t change them, I will complain.

1. Yep 15 minutes per side on some vehicles can be a PITA on some too… If it’s a good shop it should take longer because they would take a good look at all the steering and suspension components while they were already in that area…
