Heat Wave

Seriously, what did we do to deserve this? The poor dogs don’t want to have anything to do with the outside at this point in time and do their business pronto only to get back inside as soon as possible. I mean I went to work this morning and it was already 94 degrees with the humidity and around lunchtime it was 112 with humidity. I like the heat, don’t get me wrong, but 112 with humidity? Who can survive in that? Who’d want to?? And you know what, it’s only gonna get worse. No end in sight so far. We actually hit a new high yesterday of 99 from 98 set back in 1979. I’m actually surprised my plant and herbs are still alive, I keep forgetting to water them and I know you shouldn’t water them at night but guess what it’s not going to get cool so why not?

Arrgh, tomorrow 98 and if we get it, we break another record. Today was 98 and we needed 99 to tie it.

Good lord is it hot in Florence too! We hit 102 yesterday. I saw your comment in twodorks about Folly beach. Is that Folly beach, SC? The one right outside Charleston? I was there just last week to watch a friend of Samantha get wed.

Oh, I think it was you awhile back that suggested Captcha for my comments? I found this plugin called Spam Karma 2, its got a built in comment rating system, if the karma is too low it offers a captcha, etc. You might want to check it out as it makes life easier for people leaving comments ;)

Anyhow, hope you are well, its been awhile since I’ve dropped by and said hello due to the hectic life I’ve had the past month.

It may be hot down there, but at least you’re at the beach… I’m stuck in New York where it’s just been stiflingly hot. Poor dogs… make sure they get a lot of water
