Guess What…

It’s raining again lol…more casualties of the flooding. Doesn’t look like it’s going to stop anytime soon either so I might trek over to the otherside of the hospital get a few snapshots as well depending on how soon I can dry off. I’ve been here almost two hours now and still have wet clothes on which are now dirty just from the walk in from the garage which is 4 blocks away. I need to get another heater to work this from both sides :/

That van is the first casualty of the rain. I’m almost positive there has to be a few cars floating on the otherside of the hospital because the water gets higher than on this side. I did look down the street and can’t really see the street, nor the sidewalks anymore.

  1. I bet you cannot wait until hurricane season is over. I’m a little ways farther up the east coast, so by the time hurricanes hit us, they’re typically just rain storms. I can’t even imagine what it is like down there.

  2. Everything is pretty much at a stand still when we get rains like this. So many streets are shut down there’s no point to go anywhere. And if you happen to be stuck at a business or someone elses house, your stuck until the water recedes. Supposedly they are working on a better drainage system into the river but I haven’t seen any of that work yet.
