Four Foods on Friday #58

1. Does your family usually eat meals in the kitchen or somewhere else?
It’s just me and the dogs and I eat in front of the TV in the living room and they stare at me lol
2. Who usually does the dishes in your house?
The dishwasher 🙂
3. What’s your favorite small appliance or tool in the kitchen?
My Magic Bullet. That sucker makes all sorts of goodies including my yummy fruit smoothies.
4. This one’s for my son. Share a recipe for chili.
Just made some last week as a matter of fact. Cook some diced onions and green peppers, then brown some ground beef. In the crock pot put in some tomato sauce, kidney beans, chili powder and cayenne pepper to taste. Then put in your beef mixture and let that simmer away until it’s steamy hot. I use these extra big cups for my soup bowl and have some multigrain crackers to dunk in them as well.

    Your mealtimes sound remarkably like mine. Lance deposits a puddle of drool around my feet while he’s waiting for his bite (he always gets the last bite.)

    Your recipe for chili sounds so good. I like the fact that it’s a crock pot recipe. I’ll have to try it soon on a cold day!

    You just reminded me I haven’t had a smoothie in ages. I’m going to have to make my fave mango smoothie soon 🙂
