Four Foods on Friday #51

Time to learn more food facts according to me. If you are not interested you can move along. As always be sure to check out Fun Craft and Recipes to join each week and to spread the news so others might join as well.

1. I passed Costco and saw gas at $2.84 and have had Costco on the brain since. Share a cupcake, muffin or cookie recipe.
I actually am not a good baker but I will doctor up some boxed muffin mixes and usually I just buy the blueberry ones and ad a slew of fresh blueberries to them because I LOVE blueberries. I actually just bought some wheat blueberry pancake mix and did that over the past weekend and just ate them plain. They were yummy.
2. Cupcakes, muffins and cookies require something to drink. What do you drink with them?
Milk of course. Whole milk only please.
3. Which do you prefer, mini muffins and cupcakes or full sized ones?
Mini muffins because they are bite size and you can stuff the entire thing in your mouth at one time with a slather of butter.
4. What type of muffin or cupcake pan do you use? Silicone, disposable, etc.
I have the cheap metal ones but I need to find the good silicone ones to use because I keep throwing these away once they get really nasty and will start to show rust spots on the edges. No joke.

I’ve never thought to add more blueberries to a box mix. Great idea. My muffins are usually made from a box mix.

I haven’t had blueberry muffins in a long time. Might just have to get those!

I’m not a big milk fan as it is, but the thought of whole milk makes me wanna gag a little. I guess I’m just going to have to suffer with rickety old bones when I get old.

Same with me with the tins. I have the really cheap kind that get nasty quick.

I like the blueberry muffin mix that has the streussel topping with it. That is so good and looks like muffins from a bakery.

And that streusel blueberry mix would be awesome with added blueberries. I’ll have to try that.

I never thought about adding extra blueberries, either! Yummy.

But whole milk? Brrr! Skim only, please.

Mini Muffins are just lies. 😛 I rather just take a huge chunk of cheesecake and feel guilty the rest of the week.
