Time to learn more food facts according to me. If you are not interested you can move along. As always be sure to check out Fun Craft and Recipes to join each week and to spread the news so others might join as well.

1. When you need to serve desserts, do you buy them or make them?
A lot of times I’ll buy but I can make a knock off cheesecake now thanks to Philadelphia cream cheese filling and a premade pie crust and a slew of berries and some cool whip. 🙂
2. When baking do you use butter, margarine or something else?
I use whatever the recipes calls for because I honestly don’t know the difference between all of them.
3. What meats or veggies do you cook in the oven?
Chicken, turkey, and hamburger. Veggies are pretty much anything on hand.
4. Share a recipe for anything that is cooked in an oven.
The only thing I know right off the bat that I cook in the oven is the Mac & Cheese. 1 lb of macaroni or whatever pasta you like. I have tried the shells and it looks pretty when done 🙂 Cook pasta until almost done. Then 2 tbsp of flour, 2 tbsp of butter to make a roo, then 2 cup of milk and salt and pepper to taste. Then 2 cups of cheese (your choice – I’ve been experimenting and mixing cheeses lately). Mix all together and put in a dish in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes then pull out to top with more cheese and put back for another 5 minutes.

Even with the oven screwed up I could still manage to get that right which was beyond me but I think I have fixed that now.

Do you know I have actually never made mac and cheese from scratch? My Mom prefers it that way. I like it out of the box.
    Thanks for playing FFOF.
    Stumbled.

I’ll have to try your mac and cheese, after I get my cholesterol level lowered.

I make home made mac and cheese but my kids always preferred the cheapo box kind. LOL

That premade cheesecake filling is deadly. It never makes it into a piecrust in my house!

I just know that if I were to buy that cheesecake filling, I would sit with it in my recliner with a box of graham crackers.
